Catcher in the Rye 3/4
I'm three fourth of the way done with reading Catcher in the Rye. Holden finally gets the courage to go to his house and see Phoebe, his little sister. I really enjoyed this part because it was a rare moment in the book when Holden was actually happy about his life and I could understand why because Phoebe cares so much about him. However, other than this part, the book has been no different from the previous pages. The entire book so far has been based around Holden and the couple of days he's spent drinking and slouching around after being expelled from college. I personally don't see where this book is going. I just hope that at the end, Holden gets a hold on himself and he finds out what he really wants to do with his life.

im a quarter of the way through with the book as well and i thought the scene with phoebe and holden was so powerful! I also agree, the book looks like its going nowhere but if you had to say something was the climax i think this scene would be the climax.
